Organizers of this year's Stuart Air Show expect the event to draw as many as 50,000 people.

Last year's air show was shortened by one day due to the pandemic and it was called off in 2019, after a fatal plane crash on site and two days of heavy rain.

This year they're trying to get things back to normal. Average attendance in normal years is about 40,000 and the estimated economic impact of the show on the area is $2.5 million each year.

The Stuart Air Show runs Friday through Sunday at Witham Field and features 14 performances over the three days, and more than a dozen military planes.
