The Return of ISIS & Kamala Harris’ Weekend - Top 3 Takeaways

The Return of ISIS & Kamala Harris’ Weekend - Top 3 Takeaways – March 25th, 2024

  1. The return of ISIS. Every day that Joe Biden is President of the United States the world is less safe. Every day that Donald Trump was President of the United States the world was a safer place. There are two sides to stories and one side to facts. I’m starting out my takeaways today with those declarations because of the horror played out in Moscow Friday night and because of what the implications of that attack now represent. Recent history has taught us that what happened in Moscow won’t stay in Moscow. Following the terror attack at the Moscow concert hall ISIS released this statement in putting the world on notice as they called the attack the most successful and “fiercest in years”: The attack comes within the normal context of the raging war between the Islamic State and countries fighting Islam. The Obama Administration's allowance for Islamic terror organizations to proliferate, which included the toppling of the American embassy in Benghazi with the murdering of the American officials within it, led to ISIS successfully carrying out its caliphate. And as they did it found its way into the United States. Between 2014 and 2017 there were six ISIS terror attacks carried out within the United States. What we haven’t had is any since. And that’s due to one very specific reason. Donald Trump’s promise to eliminate them and his follow through in the early months of his presidency to do so. President Biden’s weakness on the world stage has set the stage for ISIS to strike again. It was on August 27th of 2021 in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of Afghanistan and botched withdrawal which also led to the killing of 13 US service members and countless innocent Afghanis that I said this in warning about what could come next: Prior to this week when was the last time you worried about ISIS? It’s been about four years when Trump finished “bombing the **** out of them”, right? And notice how when the US took out the Taliban and Al Qaeda, their terror attacks on Americans stopped? And did you notice when Trump bombed the blank out of ISIS the terror attacks stopped here too? All it’s taken is a few months of misguided policy and incompetent leadership and we’ve unnecessarily lost thirteen American heroes and have untold hundreds (perhaps more?), of Americans trapped behind enemy lines. Joe Biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue of the past four decades, only now he has the power to make the entire world less safe and that’s exactly what he’s done in addition to destroying the US’ credibility around the world.
  2. And what’s happened since? Russia invaded Ukraine. China completed the takeover of Hong Kong – turning their sights on Taiwan and the Philippines next. Hamas carried out the largest attack on Jews since the Holocaust bringing about the Israel-Hamas war and now this. And now we see that ISIS has regained the size and strength to carry out a highly sophisticated terrorist attack claiming the lives of at least 137 innocent people. But there’s also something else that’s changed since then as well. Nearly ten million undocumented people have entered the United States across our southern border, including close to two million who’ve not been interdicted by Border Patrol. In response FBI Director Christopher Wray has testified to Congress warning: The number of illegal immigrants evading Border Patrol agents and escaping into the country is a source of “great concern” for the agency and threats from the other side of the border are “consuming” FBI field offices. But that wasn’t all. Wray also warned that the growing influence of worldwide terror organizations once again represented a threat due to the recruitment and radicalization of “home grown” terrorists a la what we began to see during the ISIS caliphate under President Obama. Back to what I first said following the collapse of Afghanistan...From our southern border to Afghanistan this country and this world is a less safe place because Joe Biden is President of the United States. Joe Biden isn’t competent enough to be the president of an HOA, let alone the United States. Sadly, that was as true three years ago as it is today. Speaking of the Biden administration failures...
  3. Kamala Harris’ weekend. It was a quintessential weekend for the vice president when left to her own devices in public. It was filled with equal parts chilling policy advocacy and hilarious incompetence. The chilling policy advocacy came with her stop at Marjory Stoneman Douglas where she not only used the opportunity of the visit to call for red flag laws (something Florida already has in place because of reforms passed following the attack at Stoneman Douglas on Valentines Day in 2018), but to announce a new constitutionally questionable federal Red Flag operation. Dubbed the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center, Harris said the federal government will work with state and local governments in the 21 states, including Florida, with risk protection orders in place. Quoting AG Merrick Garland: The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others. The establishment of the Center is the latest example of the Justice Department’s work to use every tool provided by the landmark Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect communities from gun violence. So now you have the Biden administration creating a new department for the expressed purpose of removing guns from Americans. Could there possibly be a greater constitutional overreach? Stay tuned because I seriously doubt Florida will stand by and let this take place in our state. It could have the effect of states like Florida passing reforms to drop risk protection orders. As for Kamala’s hilarious incompetence over the weekend. That was on display in Puerto Rico where she joined in clapping to a song sung by Biden administration protestors. Evidently Spanish isn’t her strong suit, though we’re yet to know what hers is, but she smiled and clapped along with the song until one of her staffers came over to tell her that they were singing: Kamala Harris is a war criminal. Yep, it’s always reassuring to know she’s one step away from being President of the United States. 301 days and counting. That’s have many more days we must trend water until competent leadership will be restored to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
