  • The Florida Supreme Court will issue key rulings which will decide if two high profile proposed constitutional amendments will be on Floridians ballots this year. At 4 this afternoon the court will issue an opinion on the proposed constitutional amendment allowing for state sanctioned recreational marijuana and virtually restriction free abortions. If the proposed ballot language is approved by the Supreme Court, the initiatives will appear on voters' ballots in the November general election. 
  • A new analysis from the Center for Immigration Studies tracking the Biden Administration's migrant relocation program, which relocates processed illegal immigrants crossing the southern border, shows Florida continues to be the top destination. Since the start of the government’s current fiscal year in October, over 386,000 “undocumented persons” were flown into Florida by the Biden administration, the most of any state in the country.  
  • According to a new state operated dashboard which keeps track of the cost of healthcare provided to illegal immigrants within the state, the cost within Florida was over $566 million last year. The costs of illegal alien visits totaled $41.1 million in Palm Beach County, $5.1 million in Martin County and $2.3 million in Indian River County. 
  • It’ll be a warm and otherwise pleasant day today with highs in the low 80’s, about four degrees warmer than usual for this date. Temperatures will continue to rise through Wednesday before a cool front moves in.  
  • Gas prices dropped a bit over the weekend after recently reaching new highs for the year. The average price statewide for regular unleaded is currently $3.58 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.77 per gallon, in Martin the average is $3.67 and in Indian River County the average is $3.63 per gallon.
