The Brink of WWIII? & A Border Emergency – Top 3 Takeaways

The Brink of WWIII? & A Border Emergency – Top 3 Takeaways – November 20th, 2024

  1. On the brink of WWIII? Every day that Joe Biden is President of the United States the world is less safe. Every day that Donald Trump was President of the United States the world was a safer place. It’s something I’ve been saying for years, since the failed withdrawal from Afghanistan on August 27th of 2021 to be exact. When Donald Trump left office, we had the closest thing to world peace that we’d seen since Adam and Eve, but under the Biden and Harris administration Russia invaded Ukraine, China completed the takeover of Hong Kong, turning their sights on Taiwan and the Philippines. Hamas carried out the largest attack on Jews since the Holocaust bringing about the Israel-Hamas war, ISIS regained the size and strength to carry out a highly sophisticated terrorist attacks, and yes, now we really could be on the brink of World War III. President Biden’s decision to a) Continue arming Ukraine with US weapons to effectively have the United States fight a proxy war with Russia on their behalf, has been ill-advised. But nothing could have been more ill-advised by President Biden than the decision to authorize Ukraine to use our missile's, not for self-defense, but rather to escalate the war by attacking Russia’s interior. Two days after Biden authorized the use of the missiles for that purpose, Ukraine fired them into Russia. Predictably Putin’s response was in kind. And what was his response? To lower Russia’s stated threshold for the use of nuclear weapons and to effectively state that the U.S. and NATO are in the war against Russia. That’s fun. And again, Russia isn’t just Russia. Russia is China, Russia is Iran. Russia is Little Rocket Man in North Korea who incidentally recently moved 10,000 soldiers into Russia, to assist the Russian war effort. Russia is Cuba, Russia is Venezuela and Russia is Nicaragua. If Donald Trump were the President of the United States, is this happening? The answer is clearly no. Afghanistan wouldn’t have collapsed to terrorists. Russia wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine. China wouldn’t be allowed to consolidate and threaten sovereign countries with takeovers. If Hamas had been dumb enough to try to attack Israel, they’d have been immediately been dropped into the dust bin of history. Now the good news is that Donald Trump will be President of the United States in 61 days. The bad news is that Joe Biden will still be making foreign policy decisions for the next 60 days. I’ve been asked by several people this week why it is that Joe Biden would be making the kind of decisions he’s making sense he’ll be out of office in a couple of months. Some have asked if he’s intentionally trying to set Trump up for failure. I don’t. Some have asked if there’s some type of conspiracy here. Nope. I certainly don’t think playing with the fire of nuclear war is something Biden or any president would do just to create a difficult set of circumstances for the next president in office. In my mind, it’s all completely explainable. Joe Biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue of the past four decades. The words of Obama's Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, rings true once again. Only now it’s been five decades. So why now, in his final 60 days, would you expect him to suddenly start making better decisions? In the meantime, we should probably be praying for peace.
  2. What, because they’re going to go willingly and peacefully? Trivia time. How many national emergencies are there? And no, technically the president of the United States having dementia, while concerning, isn’t one of them. How many actual, active, declared national emergencies are active right now? Is it 5? Nope. Is it 10? Nah uh. Is it 42? Yep, that’s the one. Yes, there are 42 active declared national emergencies in the United States. Now, it can be said that we literally do have so many because Joe Biden is President of the United States. He’s either issued or renewed all of them. For example, the most recently enacted national emergency by President Biden was declared in February. That declared national emergency was an executive order: Prohibiting transactions involving property of foreign persons who participate in activities that threaten the peace and security of the West Bank, including settler violence against Palestinian civilians; suspends entry of such persons into the U.S. But do you know who isn’t suspended from entry into the US? Anyone who crosses the southern border or who uses the Biden administration's app that flies illegal immigrants directly into this country. That’s because not one of the 42 active national emergencies declared by President Biden pertains to illegal immigration or our southern border. In fact, on his first day in office he ended President Trump’s declared national emergency at our southern border.
  3. Now, do you think illegal immigration and our southern border should be considered an emergency? Do you believe there are at least 42 other things that are bigger issues for this country than the southern border/illegal immigration? So that President-elect Trump is set to once again declare a national emergency to address a border and illegal immigration crisis that’s the worst it’s been in American history as noncitizen crime has risen by over 250% under the Biden Administration seems appropriate. According to the Migration Policy Institute there were an estimated 11 million+ undocumented people living in the United States in 2020. That’s roughly on par with the estimated number of asylum seekers and gotaways who’ve entered the United States since Joe Biden became president. If those who’ve entered this country committed crimes at the same rate as those already illegally in this country had been committing crimes the under the Trump, Administration, we’d have had roughly 12,000 crimes committed by illegal immigrants per year. Instead, the number most recently is 40,000. Non-citizens are responsible for 24% of all drug trafficking, 25% of all property crimes, 28% of all fraud. We’ve had a 182% increase in sexual offenses against children/women by noncitizens since Joe Biden became president, and a 967% increase in homicides/manslaughter...and climbing. What this illustrates is that it’s not just the total number of illegal immigrants who’ve entered this country under the Biden administration that’s problematic, it’s that they’re also 3.3 times more likely to commit crimes once in the interior compared to the preexisting undocumented population. If that’s not a national emergency what is? Oh, that’s right 42 other things. But the radical left, a la Democrat officials across the country racing to attempt to protect illegal immigrants as opposed to their constituents, and their allies in news media would have you think that 1) Trump’s promise of an emergency declaration is what’s extreme and 2) That the use of a declared national emergency is rare, when in fact Joe Biden has 42. Every day that criminal illegal immigrants are in our communities we’re all less safe. Donald Trump’s willingness to do what needs to be done to restore the rule of law and to bring greater safety to our communities is exactly what should take place.
