  • Winners in Tuesdays runoff elections in Palm Beach County were Phyllis Choy for Jupiter’s First District’s town council seat and Anthony Segrich in Lake Worth Beach for the District #4 Commission race who won a three-year term. 
  • A new Assistance Portal has been opened to aid in addressing homelessness throughout Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Community Services Department has established eight kiosks with locations in Belle Glade, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach that may be used by homeless individuals or families to locate resources, shelters and to ask for additional assistance.  
  • The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County is advising residents against entering the water near Dubois Park due to high levels of bacteria found in the water. The advisory will continue until tests show safer water conditions. 
  • Sunny skies and warm today with highs near 80 which is typical for this date. We’ll have similar weather on Thursday. 
  • Gas prices rose again on Tuesday by another five cents per gallon. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $3.14 per gallon - 18 cents higher than Monday. In Palm Beach County the average price is $3.29 per gallon, in Martin the average is $3.21 and in Indian River County the average is $3.20 per gallon.
