The self made millionaire mindset:

The self made millionaire mindset:

Bottom Line: If you spend much time listening or reading my material you'll know that one of my favorite isms is how the average person making the average income can become millionaire within 25 years. Upward mobility and self reliance are two of my favorite topics to elaborate on and entrepreneur and author Grant Cardone just wrote a brilliant piece regarding the difference between the self-made millionaire mindset and everyone else. Here were his big three:

1. The rich don't protest or boycott — they produce

2. The rich don't blame others and point fingers

3. The rich think in terms of abundance, not scarcity

There's more than just observational wisdom here. It's informative for people who're seeking to improve their lives and positively impact others aside from just their overall net worth. The running multi-generational joke has been that conservatives are too busy working to take time to protest. Part of why that joke has stood the test of time is that, like most good comedy, there's truth to it but also because it's instructive of something bigger. We all have the same number of hours in the day. We all have things we face in life that we disagree with. We all have the ability to choose to use our time towards something constructive or in opposition. It goes without saying that it's really hard to improve yourself, financially or otherwise, when you're using your time to stand in opposition to something rather than producing something.

The second mindset is equally as instructive. How many self-made people do you know that are constant complainers? And in terms of the third... That's an especially effectual point that needs to be communicated in part due to the lack of economic understanding. What do I mean? Given that the average college grad is financially illiterate (let alone those with less formal education), it's not surprising that most people don't realize that there isn't a finite amount of money or opportunity. Part of the reason that class warfare has historically been an effective weapon is that lie that if the rich has theirs - it must mean that it came at the expense or others obtaining that wealth. What informed and successful people know is that the upside in the economy is unlimited and can produce unlimited income based on how much growth in the economy occurs. That's the abundance mindset.
