- Hospitalizations aren’t rising as quickly as new cases are. Despite the recent uptick in cases in Florida,hospitalizations for COVID-19 have dropped by 21 patients since Thursday.
- A report from the National Association of Realtors Florida shows 22% of recent property sales to foreign buyers has happened in Florida making Florida far-and-away the top destination in the country. The tri-county has accounted for 52% of foreign sales within the state.
- According to the Cato Institute’s annual freedom index, Florida’s ranks 2nd for personal and economic freedom in 2021. New Hampshire led the freedom index this year. Florida’s ranked 2nd for four consecutive years after having ranked first in 2015. New York is the least economically free state this year.
