Error on the side of God

Something I’ve been increasingly considerate in attempting to do, is something I would suggest we all make an effort to do. When in doubt error on the side of God. How many times in life have you found yourself thinking of saying something that’s perhaps faith-based, but haven’t? Perhaps it's because of political correctness, or perhaps fear of how someone might react? How many times have you thought of doing something selfless but haven’t because you opted for self-interest instead? In our society we’ve been conditioned to error on the side opposite of our faith. Choosing the opposite of God. I’m not here to preach and this isn’t some random pontification. This is about the issue of the day on back of Monday’s Supreme Court leak. Since the 1973 Roe V. Wade ruling, over 63.5 million abortions have been performed in the United States according to the Guttmacher Institute. That’s the opposite of erroring on the side of God. It’s pretending those fetuses aren’t lives and are merely pumpkins or something like that until they magically transform into life after birth. Science tells us a baby has a heartbeat and can feel pain at 15 weeks (it's been scientifically proven as early as twelve weeks) – hence the Mississippi law that brought about this legal challenge, and specifically Florida’s new law. Isn’t it interesting that following the science is also consistent with erroring on the side of God? And independent of religious considerations, if we’re going to potentially error in one direction or another, should we error on the side of ending a life or should we be...
