- Election projections. Today’s another primary day for a few states and it comes with a few highly instructive points as well. When it comes to election projections there are two that are worth discussing today and it's not specific to any particular candidates or races. Instead, it has everything to do with processes and election integrity. Today’s primaries come without the highest profile race from last week’s primaries having been decided. That’s not because of a recount in the GOP Senate race between Dr. Oz and Dave McCormick. It’s because they haven’t even gotten that far. Remarkably a week later all of the votes, which were all cast by Election Day, haven’t been counted. How does that happen? Good question. How exactly did it happen in 2020? That’s still a good question which is worthy of an episode of Unsolved Mysteries. What’s clear is that the status quo, without election reforms to enhance election integrity, not only continues to manage to fail candidates and voters, but it’s also getting worse by the election. That’s only a primary mind you. As I mentioned last week election integrity reforms, similar to Florida’s and Georgia’s, were passed by PA’s Republican Legislature but vetoed by their Democrat Governor Tom Wolf. - “Jim Crow 2.0” from leftists starting with Joe Biden (actually he decided that Jim Crow 2.0 wasn’t good enough, so he referred to it as Jim Eagle) to Democrat candidate for Governor on today’s ballot Stacy Abrams. Who incidentally is now running for Governor in Georgia on the platform that Georgia’s an s-hole (she called it the worst state in the country to live, no doubt that if she were to become governor that would be true). But while we still can’t project a winner in a primary race from a week ago where the votes still aren’t counted that didn’t engage in election reform...there’s a clear winner in Georgia’s primary today and that’s election integrity. Woke sellouts like Major League Baseball, which pulled the All-Star game out of Atlanta over the state’s election integrity law, joined the chorus of liars about voter suppression but the truth is setting the Georgia Legislature free. In the first election held in Georgia after what was billed as voter suppression legislation, voter turnout is up by 275%. Yes, that’s correct, 2.75 times as many voters have voted entering primary day in Georgia than in the prior midterm election cycle. So much for voter suppression. So much for Jim Crow 2.0. So much for the excuses and the lies perpetuated by Democrats that keep the absurdities like whatever the heck is or isn’t happening in Pennsylvania alive. And speaking of election projections, here’s another one. Black people aren’t stupid. It’s the leftists who treat them as though they are who are the racists. Black people are as capable to vote as anyone else of any other skin color. Not that this type of thing needs to be proved but we already did in Florida. Florida’s first election after election integrity reforms happened to be in the most heavily Black district in the state, Florida’s 20th, in the Special Election to replace the late Alcee Hastings – where not a single issue of voter suppression arose. It’s being proven in record numbers in Georgia right now. Election integrity works. The status quo is much closer to being Jim Crow 2.0. But back to Florida because...
- There’s no place like home. Florida’s unemployment rate at 3% is already 17% better than the national average, but South Florida’s story is that much better. The Fort Lauderdale metro sports an unemployment rate of 2.5%. Want a job in Miami? No doubt you can get one today with only 2.6% who’re unemployed. And in the West Palm Beach metro we’ve hit a new record low 2.3% unemployment rate. There’s no place like home for any number of reasons, but there’s almost nowhere in the country where it’s as good to get a job than it is right here. Right now.
