Without Fear or Favor, The IRS is Coming, The Hug is Back- Top 3 Takeaways – August 12th, 2022

  1. Rewind. It was just yesterday I somewhat prophetically said this as my top takeaway. Without fear or favor. That’s the official line from Attorney General Merrick Garland. Prior to the Mar-a-Lago raid, since the Mar-a-Lago raid it's clear that Garland truly means no one is above the law. That’s why as one of the earliest actions by Garland’s DOJ, they indicted Hunter Biden for leveraging his father’s position as Vice-President to profiteer as a board member for the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma and his Chinese government controlled “business” interest. It’s why additional charges against Hunter were brought when video evidence of him breaking numerous federal laws was present in videos of him with guns, hookers and crack. You know, Grand Theft Auto style. It’s also why Garland aggressively pursued expediting John Durham’s investigation into the Russian-collusion hoax against Trump – leading to charges against those who signed off on the FISA warrant requests to spy on Trump and create the hoax – James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Dana Boneta, Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr. It’s also why a new special prosecutor was established to investigate the actions of the Clinton Foundation, and specifically the use of it to peddle foreign influence, including the Uranium One deal with Russia, during her time as Secretary of State. Of course, there is much more he’s pursuing because after all, he’s a righteous man who pursues justice for all – without fear or favor. Oh wait, what’s that? None of that has actually happened? Instead, he’s squarely focused on continuing to fraudulently use the DOJ and FBI to target a political adversary? Say it isn’t so. I’d heard and read in so many stories just how principled this man is. I’ll give Garland this. Garland is willing to use his post without fear or favor of the law or consideration for the citizens of this country with which he’s tasked with providing justice. No need to reinvent the wheel. Just reiterate what a lying BS artist Merrick Garland is. And not even a good one. All he confirmed yesterday, by admitting he personally ordered the raid, is that he is indeed as corrupt as he is disingenuous. And on that note...
  2. If the size of the IRS is doubling, who are they coming for? Today the House takes up the legislation dubbed the (anything but) Inflation Reduction Act. Inherently you should know that the only way Congress would be able to take action to reduce inflation, would be if they were to pass legislation which would reverse the government actions which led to it. Does this legislation reverse the Biden executive order banning the Keystone XL pipeline? Nope. Does it undue his executive order ending the issuance of new energy harvesting permits in the US? Nope. Does it undo the dozens of new regulations which act as disincentives for energy companies to increase supply at their existing operations? Nope. Does it undo the $1.9 trillion in invented money supply created as part of last year’s “American Rescue Plan Act”? Nope. Does it undo the artificial demand created by the artificial money which was handed out like candy? Nope. Right, so there’s nothing that actually reduces inflation in this plan. But what it does do is of course raise taxes and dramatically increases the size of government. Quite literally. As in essentially doubling the IRS. Now, the news this week has been dominated by what happened at the onset of it with the unprecedented FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago. But as I’ve discussed all week, the DOJ and FBI retain no credibility in any matters involving Trump as their raiding of him didn’t begin on Monday at his home, but in 2016, during his presidential campaign. This concept comes full circle today as Congress is looking to double the size of the IRS and increase enforcement measures by four to six times current levels. Just as we’re supposed to pretend the DOJ and FBI wasn’t found to be corrupt in their coordination with the DNC and team Clinton to plant the Trump-Russia hoax in 2016 and instead we’re take them face value today. We’re supposed to pretend the IRS wasn’t found to be guilty of weaponizing the agency against conservatives during the Obama administration. If there’s to be a doubling of the size of the IRS and if there’s to be up to 600% more enforcement, let me ask...who are they coming for? After all, if you can’t trust the Biden administration's bureaucrats, who can you trust? The abuses of power in “Justice” were covert under the Obama administration. They’re overt under this one.
  3. The hug. It’s been thirteen years and three political parties ago for Charlie Crist, but “the hug” is back. In case you were wondering what Charlie was going to do with the money that you donated to him (as I explained yesterday), via your property taxes, courtesy of Florida’s teachers’ unions, you didn’t have to wait long. We’ve got “the hug”. Charlie Crist has released a new campaign ad as he’s coming down the home stretch of his primary race with Nikki Fried, which he’s quite literally entitled “The Hug”. Now, this is interesting for a few reasons. First, he’d spent the entire primary election cycle looking past Nikki and going straight after DeSantis as though he’d already won the primary...that is until the last two weeks. And now, as apparently, he’s received some internal data that Nikki’s a potential threat, his campaign about the future is led by thirteen-year-old footage of Barak Obama talking about him, and Charlie hugging him. I suppose this is to address that he really was a Democrat even when he was a Republican, but prior to becoming an Independent? Anyway, someone will lose their home to foreclosure because they can’t afford their record high property taxes (in which the largest share of that money goes to public schools) but they can take solace knowing that they traded their families’ home for Charlie Crist’s hug.
