Bad & Worse Doesn’t Equal Better (Xi & Putin) – Top 3 Takeaways

Bad & Worse Doesn’t Equal Better (Xi & Putin) – Top 3 Takeaways – March 22nd, 2023

  1. Putting bad and worse together doesn’t equal better. Look, there’s a lot of stuff going on in the world right now we can all be distracted by. A banking crisis. The Florida state legislative session. Heck even a Manhattan DA who appears to be obsessed with using Stormy Freaking Daniels to attempt to perp walk Trump. And that’s independent of the stuff going on at home with our families. But this side of potential financial ruin and legal abuses of the highest order, the biggest thing going on in the world right now is whatever the heck happened in Moscow over the past couple of days. Not only did the two-day summit start with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin stating they were “dear friends”, which for even the woefully uniformed should still be enough tell you that trouble is brewing. Be mindful, the only “news” we hear coming out of the summit is what the state-controlled media apparatuses in both countries chose to reveal. But when what they choose to reveal is alarming, you can only imagine what really must have been discussed. While some headlines trickled out about open dialogue and “peace proposals”, from state run media operations in both countries, which at times were repeated by braindead news reporters in this country which work for organizations which aren’t officially state run but could easily be confused as such...anyway the real story started with the “friendship” but continued with...
  2. A few keys. Those keys... In day one it was reported that both leaders stated there were “no limits” to their partnership. On Tuesday it’s said Xi promised to “boost coordination” with Russia as they signed a “no economic limits” partnership. And the talks ended with a report that Xi has invited Putin to China to explore Russian expansion opportunities within the country – as Putin has said Russian companies stand to replace the role many western companies have held within the country. Now, in the grand scheme of things do I care if Russian S-boxes are on the roads in place of Fords? Not at all. In fact, I’m far more inclined to have issues with every American company which has sold out to the Chinese. But the more important question is to ask what really happened behind closed doors and where all of this is going. For years I’ve consistently pointed out that China isn’t just China, that’s it’s Russia, Iran, North Korea (with Little Rocket Man), it’s Cuba, it’s Venezuela and Nicaragua. All of these bad actors align together and are continuing to consolidate together. Putting bad and worse together doesn’t equal better. Just look at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. As for where this looks like it’s going... A) China has first and potentially exclusive access to Russian energy and grain B) China funds Russia’s economy through asset purchases C) Russian companies expand within China providing additional economic opportunity for the country beyond natural resources and agriculture. D) China decouples from US interests. I’ll pick up on that last one. What’s China been aggressively doing for the past year on the investment side? Selling US Treasury bonds. What have they been buying? Gold. They’ve been doing it while they’ve been aligned with Russia in their war with Ukraine. They’ve been doing it while they’ve been engaged in military provocation over Taiwan. And now they have their “limitless” economic partnership with Russia. Now all of what’s happened could be a coincidence, or it could be that China’s in the final stages of preparing for what they will do next which would likely be to move militarily on Taiwan. Something that’s surely not lost on Xi Jinping or Vladimir Putin is...
  3. Timing. Joe Biden’s leadership is so weak he makes the entire world less safe. Which is precisely what I pointed out in my Top Three Takeaways on September 2nd of 2021 when I said: From our southern border to Afghanistan Joe Biden’s existence as President of the United States has made our country and the entire world less safe. And lest anyone doubted me then what’s happened since? Remember when Joe Biden promised Russia wouldn’t dare invade Ukraine because our sanctions would be crippling. How’d that go? He then promised we’d only protect other NATO countries and how’d that seemingly go for Taiwan? The current occupant of the Oval Office may only be there for another 22 months (and may God help us all if he’s still there past then). This is not lost on Putin and Xi and it makes the next year and a half an especially precarious window of time for those in the crosshairs of two evil dictators who were held at bay by the man a Manhattan DA is trying to take down over hush money payments to Stormy freaking Daniels. And what kind of a laugh do you think Xi and Putin had about that one? The man they’re most concerned about, the man whose presence in the Oval Office made the world safer, being attempted to be done in by a Manhattan DA? George Soros couldn’t have drawn it up any better could he? Every world superpower throughout history has fallen. I’m pretty sure Stormy Daniels would qualify as the dumbest nail in the coffin for a former superpower yet if it were to go down that way. If we continue to be a country that’s stuck on stupid playing silly political games because of mean tweets while caving to political correctness and the woke social justice mob as XI and Putin proliferate their “friendship” ... We could have the unfortunate reality of seeing it happen in our lifetimes. Putting bad and worse together doesn’t equal better. That’s stupid. But then again so is our political leadership. And look how many people voted for it and how many people remarkably continue to express support for it. Timing is key right now in a lot of ways. There’s the banking crisis. We have 45 days left in Florida’s state legislative session. Who knows exactly how many days until a potential Trump indictment? And then there’s whatever Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard were hashing out in Moscow this week. Time is of the essence for sure.
