Trump’s Guilty of Having Lived in New York & When the Real Verdict Will Be Rendered - Top 3 Takeaways – May 31st, 2024
- The real verdict will be November 5th. Those were the words of the former and perhaps future President of the United States upon learning that he’d been found guilty on all 34 counts brought against him. So were these. We’ll fight to the end and we’ll win. This is far from over. He’s right on all three of those points. The real verdict on all of the lawfare matters against Donald Trump will be rendered by voters this November (God willing with the actual verdict rendered November 5th as opposed to days or weeks later). He’s also right that this is far from over and that in the end he’ll likely win in having this case overturned on appeal for numerous violations of due process in the New York State case in addition to misapplication of the law by the Biden donor of a judge presiding over it. The question is where, as in which court...the New York Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court...and when? Sentencing in this case is scheduled for July 11th (just prior to the start of the Republican Convention). There’s also the question about what Trump will be allowed to do between now and then. But let’s be clear about one thing. Donald Trump was found guilty of having lived in New York City and having dared to become president and to run for president again. Let that be a warning to all who still live, own property or do business in that god forsaken location. A place that I assure you I’ll never so much as even visit again. If they can do that to Trump, who can’t they do that to? When the verdict came in Thursday afternoon, I wasn’t just surprised...my initial reaction was a bit of shock. That was in part because we’d heard just minutes earlier that Judge Merchan was set to release the jury for the day. But also, mostly, because I believe in this country and our system of justice. Not because I trusted the government but because I wanted to believe that even in a jaded bastion like New York City at least one juror would see through the lawfare and do the right thing. The moment it was known that a verdict had been reached there was no doubt about what was coming. And it was at that moment that my initial shock went away, and I thought about where this all started. It was on March 20th of last year. I’ll walk you back to my top three takeaways from that day. I think they’re even more relevant today. Here goes...A two-tiered system of justice. Saturday’s news of a potential arrest of Palm Beaches’ most prominent resident, broken by none other than the former president himself, is no-doubt a pivotal point in American history should this come to fruition. There were two especially notable posts by former President Donald Trump over the past few days. The first came Friday when Trump took to Facebook for the first time in over two years to say: I’m back! But while we wait, we watch and we’ll see what will be with the former president’s social media proclivities, that news was quickly buried on Saturday with the news he broke on Truth when he said: NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK! So yes, for all that has been and all that will be, if this proves to be true, we’re going to have the first former president of the United States indicted for alleged hush money payments totaling $130,000 seven years ago? And speaking of what happened in 2016, to date there has been no real accountability for any of the illegal actions taken by the DNC, the Hillary Clinton Campaign, the Justice Department and intelligence officials who crafted a fraudulent dossier alleging Trump-Russia collusion. The illegal scheme which created the entire narrative – lying to the FISA court so they could illegally surveil on Donald Trump the candidate and eventually Donald Trump the president. - The current President of the United States and his son. We quite literally have Hunter Biden on video committing felonies. And now, after having admitted to leaving the laptop with the computer repair shop in New Jersey and having acknowledged the material on it is him (not that there was any doubt), Hunter is suing the computer repair shop owner. Hunter and his associates had already spent years attempting to destroy and discredit him unsuccessfully. So, an evidenced felon gets to continue to abuse a small business owner he already tried to destroy because he’s a Biden but Stormy freaking Daniels? And speaking of stuff that happened in the vicinity of 2016, Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation for alleged misfeasance in business dealings with China, Russia and Ukraine since 2019. 2019 – a year before the presidential election. Not only did the dishonest news media discredit this story leading up to the 2020 election in aiding Joe Biden’s chances... They continued not to cover it during his entire first year plus as president. And as we know, Hunter Biden magically became a board member at the corrupt energy company Burisma being paid huge money for what – his Ukrainian energy expertise? And as we know, his father – then Vice President, threatened the Ukrainian government with US foreign aid demanding they immediately fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma – which they did... But Stormy freaking Daniels? And then there was Hunter’s progression to a Chinese energy entity in which he was paid millions by a Chinese Communist Government controlled energy entity because of what? His growing energy prowess? But Stormy freaking Daniels? And then there is last week’s revelation by the House investigation into the Bidens which found another $1.3 million had been deposited into Hunter Biden, James Biden and Hallie Biden’s accounts in 2017 by a Chinese Communist energy company but Stormy freaking Daniels, right? Make no mistake – should Trump be arrested tomorrow, or whenever if he is, there is an obvious two-tiered system of justice. But that said...
- Keep calm and carry on. As Elon Musk tweeted on Saturday... If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory. While that’s speculation on top of speculation, instinctually I think he’s more likely than not to be correct, regardless however, that’s how the battle against a two-tiered justice system is won. At the ballot box. The NYC DA, who won election to the post via $1 million in George Soros’ money, could potentially successfully prosecute Trump and yet lose in the end. Our founders knew the risk of a system in which political enemies could abuse the legal system persecuting political opponents. That’s why they allowed for even someone who may even be imprisoned to be eligible to be elected President of the United States. They put their faith in the people of the country to make the right decisions given what they knew could happen with political corruption. Decisively winning elections in 2024 should be the focus and it’s the key to fixing this two-tiered system as well. Keep calm and carry on... Those words are every bit as relevant today as they were that day. As Trump said... The real verdict will be November 5th only this time YOU’LL BE THE JURY.
