- So, who exactly is the “threat to democracy”? Quoting President Biden at a fundraiser earlier this year - There is one existential threat: it’s Donald Trump. Not Xi Jing Ping. Not Vladimir Putin (the actual one not to be confused the Ukrainian President – which of course President Biden did do at the NATO Summit last week), not the Mullahs in Iran, not Little Rocket Man in North Korea. Not terrorists foreign or domestic. None of these people or groups were determined by the current President of the United States as the “one existential threat”. No, the greatest threat on this planet according to Joe Biden is Donald Trump. It was just last Monday on a phone call with his donors that President Biden said, “It’s time to put Trump in the bullseye”. Based on the assassination attempt of the former and future President at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday that left the former President shot in the ear and within perhaps an inch of death – and that did leave an attendee dead with two others critically injured – it seems as though a 20-year old radicalized malcontent decided to do exactly what Joe Biden himself directed just last Monday. For over three and a half years there has been relentless rhetoric by elected Democrats from the President of the United States on down calling the former and future President of the United States a threat to democracy. If you conduct a Google search of “Donald Trump threat to Democracy” you’ll find over 131,000 stories published online by news organizations referencing to former president Donald Trump as being a “threat to Democracy”. This is largely due to godless, soulless and slanderous news media who have propped up the current president, lying often through omission about his capabilities and mental state while slandering the former president as a “threat to democracy”. And of course, it hasn’t just been Trump who’s been pegged as a threat to democracy. His supporters have been called that too. It was just last September that the Department of Homeland Security’s now disbanded (because it was exposed) “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group” produced a report characterizing supporters of the former president as constituting most of the Domestic Terrorism threat. Well, let me ask you, who exactly is the “threat to democracy”? Is it the former, and be it by the grace of God, future President of the United States who was nearly assassinated on Saturday? Was it the Trump supporters who were? Was it any of Trump’s supporters?

He is not”. There have been lots of statements from those on the left who’d as recently as Friday had been calling Trump a threat to democracy now stating that political violence is unacceptable. Well, that’s a day late and a dollar short. We heard from the entirety of the political left, amplified by a complicit media, that Donald Trump “incited an insurrection” on January 6th, 2021 (while always conveniently leaving out that Trump’s actual statement to the crowd attending his speech that day was to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard”). Well, if Donald Trump calling on his supporters to peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard at Capitol, makes him guilty of insurrection in the eyes of the president, all elected Democrats, and a complicit news media...please riddle me this one. How then is it not the case that President Biden is guilty of inciting the attempted assignation of his political opponent, the former president, and the murder of one of his supporters? Once again this is the guy who’s been telling his supporters that “it’s time to put Trump in the bullseye”, after having stated that he is the one existential threat, after a multiyear drumbeat of Donald Trump and his supporters being threats to democracy... If there was any intellectual honesty on the American left from the President of the United States, to elected Democrats across the country, to the godless, soulless and slanderous news media who’ve all participated in character assassination of the former president and his supporters – they’d all be issuing apologies. Do I think that they wanted it to come to this? No, I don’t. However, they’re the ones responsible for stoking the flames of a deep division in this country pitting Americans against Americans based on political differences – literally suggesting that the country’s very existence is threatened by the former president and his supporters which is about the most un-American thing you can do. And now we’ve been reminded about how truly dangerous their words and their actions have been. In the words of President Trump Sunday morning after having had time to reflect on Saturday’s assassination attempt: Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness. Our love goes out to the other victims and their families.
