  • Venezuelans in Florida celebrated the ouster of illegitimate President Nicolas Maduro throughout the weekend. From Doral to Mar-a-Lago demonstrations of support for the Trump-administration's actions to detain and arrest the dictator took place. Maduro and his wife, who was also indicted, are expected to make a first court appearance at noon today in the Southern District of New York where narco-terror charges have been brought and where preexisting arrest warrants dating back to 2020 exist.  
  • 34 Illegal immigrants in Florida have been convicted of federal immigration related offenses, most commonly illegal reentry after deportation. The convictions came in federal court in Tallahassee and support ICE’s detention and deportation efforts across the state. The 34 convicted criminals will serve federal punishments followed by deportations. 
  • water main break at Tequesta Drive Sunday morning led to the closure of the road between Seabrook Road and Norfolk Ave. Dover Road is serving as a detour. At least check the closure was still in effect.  
  • Sunny skies and seasonal temps today with highs in the mid to upper 70’s.  
  • Gas prices remain near five-year lows and are 30 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The average price for regular unleaded in Florida is currently $2.81 per gallon. In Palm Beach County the average price is $2.98 per gallon, in Martin the average is $2.83, it’s $2.83 in St. Lucie, and in Indian River County the average is $2.83 per gallon.
