Takeaway #1: The news just keeps getting better
No, there’s not any sarcasm behind that statement. And yes, taken at face value when juxtaposed to many of the headlines out there coming out the weekend. From stories about the Marxist-backed (Indivisible) “Ice Out” protests that played out through the weekend, which were gleefully reported as “peaceful” by GSS news outlets...to Saturday’s state department warning to Americans within Venezuela that they could be at risk, to most notably the headlines coming out of Iran...where not so peaceful protests have been playing out in recent weeks. So, about that...take this New York Post headline from yesterday. Iran warns U.S. Troops and Israel will be targets if America strikes over protests as death toll rises to 116. On the surface, what’s happening across the country and around the world might bring about feelings of chaos, concern and questions about where we’re going as a country and the world at large. Dig in a little deeper and what’s happening right now holds the potential for the best turn of events for the U.S. and the world that we’ve seen since, well about the time that Billy Joel released We didn’t Start the Fire...which not only stylistically seems appropriate for this moment in American and world history but that’s always top-of-mind for many given his super cool impromptu performance at the Village of Wellington’s 30th anniversary celebration recently. We Didn’t Start the Fire was released on September 27th of 1989. The Berlin Wall came down only weeks later on November 9th of ‘89. The fall of the Soviet Union marked a period of unprecedented peace for the United States and, at that point, the expanding free world. What’s happening right now takes me back to my thoughts about what went down last summer with Iran when I stated...
Takeaway #2: President Trump Dropped the MOPs & The World Is on the Brink of Unprecedented Peace
From my top 3 takeaways that day I mused... For decades, U.S. Presidents and leaders from around the world have said “Iran can never have a nuclear weapon”. But all along Iran played games to continue to develop nuclear weapons. In a matter of minutes, with the deployment of MOP bombs, that all ended. There is no doubt that the world is a safer place today because Iran’s nuclear program is done and because... Donald Trump is president of the United States. Important in my depiction of the events and thinking surrounding them I pointed this out: China isn’t just China, it’s Russia, it’s Iran, it’s North Korea (with Little Rocket Man), it’s Cuba, it’s Venezuela and Nicaragua. But while allied, what that doesn’t mean is that their objectives are all the same. While the Mullahs in Iran, are Islamic zealots practicing Shria law, China actively persecutes Muslims, and faith of any kind is about the furthest thing from Putin’s mind. Their common interest is oil and for China and Russia, to have something of an ally with a significant foothold in the region. And as far as China goes, a country with over 600 nuclear war heads and growing...they’ve issued a statement that there can never be a nuclear war. What this means is that for Iran no help is coming. And it never did. My final thought was this... That there’s no escalation in conflict coming from the U.S.’s two biggest adversaries (Russia being the other) who are also Iran’s two biggest allies tells you all you need to know. This brings us back around to the incredible significance of what’s happening right now, and importantly, what isn’t.
Takeaway #3: The New Axis Is Crumbling
Consider that it was only just over a week ago that one of the world’s worst actors was removed from power in Venezuela and that as a result the fourth most important cog of the seven new Axis power threats (which holds the world’s largest oil reserves) is now aligned with the United States over China and Russia in an operation that didn’t result in the death of any Americans. Then consider that only a week later the world’s largest terror sponsoring government and the third most important cog in the new Axis – Iran's Ayatollah – is collapsing before our eyes. As noted by President Trump on Truth Social over the weekend: Iran is looking at FREEDOM, perhaps like never before. The USA stands ready to help!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spent the weekend talking about what that might look like (and btw, it doesn’t include U.S. boots on the ground in Iran – Trump was clear about that). But as we watch and we wait to see what very well the end of the world’s top terror threat might be there’s also the other impending collapse of another one of the strategic Axis members...As posted by Trump on Truth as well.. Cuba lived, for many years, on large amounts of OIL and MONEY from Venezuela. In return, Cuba provided “Security Services” for the last two Venezuelan dictators, BUT NOT ANYMORE! Most of those Cubans are DEAD from last weeks U.S.A. attack, and Venezuela doesn’t need protection anymore from the thugs and extortionists who held them hostage for so many years. Venezuela now has the United States of America, the most powerful military in the World (by far!), to protect them, and protect them we will. THERE WILL BE NO MORE OIL OR MONEY GOING TO CUBA - ZERO! I strongly suggest they make a deal, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. Much like the former Soviet Union collapsing in the late 80’s and the former World War II Axis powers before it...the collapse of one member of the alliance has a cascading effect on the others. There’s the very real chance that Cuba’s communistic regime that’s been in place since the rise of Fidel Castro in 1959 could be on the brink of falling too. Incidentally, these events also hold the potential to put more pressure on Putin and Russia to make peace with Ukraine too. Breakout Billy Joel because we’re very close to seeing the potential for unprecedented peace in a massive reset that began when President Trump dropped the MOPs.
