A two-day job fair starts on Wednesday to fill positions at an upcoming hotel in downtown West Palm Beach, by Hilton.
The Canopy will open next month and the 13-story, 150-room boutique hotel needs employees for its restaurant, including a sushi chef and other cooks, bartenders, dishwashers and servers.
They also have positions in concierge and housekeeping.
40 positions in all will be filled at the job fair going on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday in West Palm Beach.

WHAT: The Canopy West Palm Beach Downtown will hold a career fair to recruit applicants for a variety of positions prior to the hotel’s March 5 grand opening.
Positions available include: room attendant, public area attendant, housekeepers, laundry, front desk, night auditor, maintenance worker, cook, dishwasher, busser, server, cocktail server, bell person, barista, bartender, sushi chef, sales coordinator and engineering supervisor. In total, there are more than 40 positions remaining to be filled.
The 13-story, 150-room Canopy West Palm Beach Downtown is this Hilton boutique brand’s first property in Florida, and is designed with a focus on all things local, from the six-story tall lighted banyan-tree inspired art installation in the lobby, to a coral rock wall on the 13th floor pool deck, an extensive offering of locally-sourced produce throughout menu items, to the selection of Oceana Coffee from Tequesta as the hotel’s coffee provider.
The hotel offers a 13th-floor pool deck and Treehouse lounge, the first-floor Banter restaurant, and inviting meeting spaces with floor to ceiling windows offering views of Downtown West Palm Beach.
