Hospitals throughout South Florida have been changing their policies regarding visitors amid the coronavirus pandemic, and one in Palm Beach County is doing away with visitors.
According to a message on its website, Delray Beach Medical Center will be "elminating visiting hours" effective Friday.
The message says "We are happy to assist our patients with virtual visits via their personal devices."
In many cases, hospitals in Miami-Dade and Broward counties are restricting visitation rules, but this is the first time we've seen a hospital completely shut down visiting hours.
