(Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida Senator Rick Scott is urging President Trump to attend the inauguration.
In a statement, Scott says President Trump's attendance would demonstrate to the world that a peaceful transfer of power will occur next week. Scott issued his statement after President Trump announced he would not be attending President-elect Joe Biden's swearing-in.
The Republican Senator says he will attend the inauguration on January 20th calling it an "important tradition."
