Corn dogs, cotton candy, vaccinations?
The South Florida Fair opens on Friday and COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered during the first four days.
Organizers say anyone who gets a shot at the vaccination booth will be given a free ticket to return to the fair on any future day. The fair runs through May 23rd.
The idea is to go and enjoy the fair and get vaccinated on your way out. The booth will be set up near the fair's Gate 2 exit from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. through Sunday and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday.
Both the Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines will be administered, and for those who get the Moderna vaccine, the Health Care District of Palm Beach County will have its Mobile Bus at the fairgrounds on Saturday June 5th for second doses.
