Two current Town Council members in Jupiter are running for Mayor, leaving their seats open for election tomorrow.
We've already covered the Mayoral and First District races and you'll be able to hear from the candidates here.
Five people are running in the Second District race:
Ben Klug previously served on the Town Council on an interim basis. He's a glass worker by trade and pledges to improve public safety and ensure the town's first responders have the resources and support they need.
Robert William Kuypers says he works as Director for a Business Intelligence program and touts being a Jupiter native.
Linda McDermott works as the grants and special projects administrator for the City of West Palm Beach. She cites financial management experience and says she'll use it to leverage government revenue.
Malise Sundstrom serves on Jupiter's planning and zoning commission and pledges to address traffic and congestion in the town.
Gloria Tucker is a hair stylist who wants to change the Town's charter to allow the Council to oversee the police department, rather than the town manager. She is one of many, including the former police chief, who called for the resignation of the former town manager, Matt Benoit. That came to fruition late last year.
