Broward Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a serial credit card thief. Detectives say four times since March, the suspect walked into a North Lauderdale Walmart store, used a stolen credit card to purchase gift cards in the self-checkout lanes and walked out of the store.
Police say the incidents in question happened on March 17, April 12, April 15 and May 24. The suspect each time was wearing similar black clothing with a mask.
In total, detectives believe the suspected thief has charged more than $5,000 on the stolen credit cards. The investigation has revealed that the credit cards are being stolen from residential mailboxes.
