A 12-year old boy was arrested this week for threatening to shoot other students at a middle school in Okeechobee.
The alleged remarks came during a livestream on Instagram and one of the threatened students recorded it.
The Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office says the boy claimed he was going to shoot up Osceola Middle School.
"If you don't go off live, imma shoot your school up."
"I know you're in [teacher's name removed] class, I'm coming there with a gun."
Detectives say his father is cooperating and they commend the student who reported the information.
The charge of written threats to kill, do injury or conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism is a second degree felony.
