The man accused of killing a Palm Beach Gardens Lyft driver has entered a plea of not guilty during his arraignment.

Mathew Flores was in an Okeechobee County courtroom on Monday, where he will be tried on charges of premeditated first-degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Flores allegedly shot 74-year old Gary Levin after the man picked him up in Palm Beach County back in January. His body was found in Okeechobee just days later.

36-year old Flores was arrested in North Carolina, where he was found driving Levin's car. Police say he was on the run at the time for a murder in Hardee County.

After Flores' arraignment, the judge set his next court date for December 13th.
