Ft. Lauderdale residents and business owners invited to attend a series of public workshops beginning Saturday and ending in April on how best to build a new City Hall. Commissioner Steve Glassman says they want people to weigh in on the design, amenities and financial procurement. He says they're using the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Parker Playhouse to conduct business. The old City Hall was destroyed in the historic rainstorm flooding the basement with eight feet of water. Commissioners will review the plans in June.
