A couple wound up with a dumpster on the roof of their new home are taking it in stride.
A tornado, whipped up by Hurricane Milton on Wednesday, tore through the Avenir community of Palm Beach Gardens.
It picked up a two-ton dumpster and dropped it on top of John and Bonnie's newly-built house, the one they had just recently signed the papers for.
The pair tell CBS 12 News they're putting things into perspective.
"We count our blessings. There are people north of here that didn't make it. We'll be fine."
"We're safe. Bottom line is we got out okay."
The home received water damage and a gaping hold on the roof where the dumpster landed.
CBS 12 reports that the tornado that struck Avenir has been confirmed as an EF-3.
