Vanderbilt University will open a graduate campus in downtown West Palm Beach, focusing on business, AI, and data science.

The county commission approved the plan yesterday, projecting a $7 billion economic impact in the first 25 years.

Despite some concerns over taxpayer funding, supporters view the project as a major investment in the region's future.

Classes are set to begin in 2026.
