A teacher was arrested inside an elementary school with sex toys, marijuana and women's underwear.
Authorities say officers were responding to reports of a burglary at Windmill Elementary in Port St. Lucie on Thanksgiving night when they saw a naked 34-year old Joe Urias, running through the campus.
The man, who worked at another school in the city, told officers he was homeless and got inside the school through an unlocked window. Urias is also accused of punching a cop as he tried to escape before being arrested.
He faces charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, burglary, marijuana possession and battery of a law enforcement officer.
Urias was a teacher at the Somerset College Prep charter school, but administrators put out a statement referring to the incident involving a "former teacher."
