The Trump Administration has unveiled a new inverted Food Pyramid in its New Dietary Guidelines, putting REAL FOOD back at the center of health.
Grains, which were once the foundation of the suggested diet, are now the smallest group and relegated to the bottom. Protein, dairy, healthy fats, fruits and vegetables are the largest categories competing for the top.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s plan aims to completely cut out added sugars, prioritize protein, push vegetables and fruit, reduce the intake highly processed products, eat more whole foods, and end the war on saturated fats.
The new guidelines will impact the food fed to American children in school and meant to combat chronic disease in the U.S. It's part of the administration's Make America Healthy Again, or MAHA, push.
