A glitch at Geico. There's an alert out this morning for anyone with Geico insurance.
Miami-Dade's Tax Collector says some GEICO insurance policies renewed between January 1 and April 13 were mistakenly transmitted to the state system as canceled.
As a result, some drivers may receive suspension notices in error or see a pending suspension on their record despite maintaining valid insurance coverage.
Anyone worried about this should go onto Geico's website and verify.
