I've been with WJNO since the early 2000s and on the Morning Rush since 2009, gaining a larger presence after the retirement of longtime local radio legend Jim Edwards.
My on-air career started in music radio at the young age of 18, and I was soon given the on-air name of "Rock n' Roll Joel" by a consultant.
My news/talk experience began in 1996. Through the years, I've been a radio news reporter and anchor, traffic reporter, and the current co-host along with Brian Mudd of the Morning Rush.
I have three kids, two of them grown and one in elementary school. I'm a big Miami Dolphins fan, even when they let me down. I'm also a fantasy football geek, so let me know if you ever want to compete... for free. I'm not good enough to chance losing money on it.
